UPS Energy is committed to preserving the quality of our environment, reducing waste and conserving our natural resources for future generations.
UPS Energy will gladly recycle any lead acid or sealed lead acid batteries. Our recycling program puts components of the batteries back into the battery manufacturing process, reclaiming hazardous lead and chemicals to be safely reused.
We in the lead-acid battery industry are proud of the fact that our batteries are more than 97% recyclable. Compared to 45% of newspapers and 26% of glass bottles, lead acid batteries are one of the most highly recyclable consumer products.
